NEWS: Focus Group on Blue Economy Development in Croatia – ABBA Project

The Croatian Regional Hub of the ABBA – Adriatic-Ionian Sustainable Blue Economy Alliance for Upscaling SMEs project organized a focused stakeholder meeting at the University of Zadar – Maritime Department, gathering representatives of key SMEs operating in ports, shipyards, shipbuilding, and aquaculture.

Led by Dr. Astrid Zekić, the session aimed to identify sector-specific challenges and jointly explore innovative and sustainable solutions to strengthen traditional blue economy industries across the Adriatic-Ionian region.

The focus group fostered open dialogue between academia and industry, reinforcing ABBA’s commitment to supporting SME development, maritime innovation, and sustainable regional growth.
